Big house well equipped in a quite street.
Big sleeping room and very nice shower.
Big living-room with led Tv and fast wifi. Brand new sofa. Very cosy.
Private secured parking just in front and metro station at the corner of the street perfect to visit Brussels without traffic jam.
I went to Mini-Europe nearby and Atomium : Just fantastic !
I had a great meal at the restaurant la petite fourchette nearby.

Die Villa EXPO befindet sich unweit der Sehenswürdigkeit Atomium, die man fußläufig erreichen kann. Auch der Weg zur Metro beträgt zu Fuß nur 5 Minuten. Aldi befindet sich fast um die Ecke. Auch Gastronomie ist fußläufig erreichbar. Um nach Gent oder Brügge zu kommen, ist man schnell auf der E 40. Für das Auto gibt es einen Stellplatz in einer Tiefgarage zu einem geringen Preis. Die Unterkunft mit 2 Schlafzimmern, Wohn- und Esszimmer, Küche, Bad und 2 separaten WC ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, doch sie bietet alles, was für einen Aufenthalt mit Selbstversorgung benötigt wird. Das Bad hat Doppelwaschbecken und Doppeldusche. Im großen Wohnzimmer kann man auf gemütlichem Sofa TV sehen und im vorderen Teil am großen Esstisch die Mahlzeit einnehmen. Es gibt separate Lichtquellen. In der Küche kann gut gekocht werden, Kühl und Gefrierkombination und andere technische Geräte sowie Putzmittel sind vorhanden. In den Schlafräumen befinden sich geräumige Schränke mit ausreichenden Bügeln. Die Betten sind hoch und sehr bequem. Der Vermieter ist auf Anfragen freundlich und hilfsbereit telefonisch erreichbar. Selbst unsere schlechten Englischkenntnisse waren am Ende keine Hürde.

Die Wohnung ist sehr groß. Besonders schön sind das riesige Wohn- und Esszimmer und der Balkon. Die Betten sind zwar ein bisschen schmal, aber schön fest gepolstert; wir haben alle sehr gut geschlafen!
Die Wohnung ist ziemlich weit draußen. Vorteil: ruhige Lage, frische Luft. Nachteil: recht lange Fahrt mit der lauten Brüsseler Metro, um den Bahnhof oder die Innenstadt zu erreichen. Dafür ist die Haltestelle aber fast vor der Tür. Dort gibt es auch ausreichend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Discounter, Bäcker, kleiner Supermarkt).
Wichtig: Die bei Booking angegebene Adresse ist NICHT die Adresse, wo das Häuschen mit der Ferienwohnung steht. Also nicht erschrecken, weil die Adresse an der Autobahn liegt – in Wirklichkeit ist die Wohnung in einem ruhigen Viertel nördlich der Endhaltestelle der Metro-Linie 6 (Baudouin).Françoise from France (5/10)
