Triplex près de la Grand-Place Overview

You know what, the Triplex près de la Grand-Place is one of those hidden gems in Brussels that you’d only find if you really know the city or got a solid local tip. Tucked away on 14 Rue Terre-Neuve, it’s a 4-star hotel with a 9 rating, and honestly, it feels like a home away from home. The location is spot on – just a stone’s throw from the bustling Grand-Place, yet on a quiet street that feels like a local secret.

Walking into the Triplex, the first thing that hits you is the warm, contemporary decor. It’s got this cool blend of modern and cozy that makes you feel instantly relaxed. The rooms are spacious, with big windows that let in tons of natural light – a nice touch, especially in a city that can be a bit gloomy in the winter months. The beds are super comfy, and the linens, well, they feel like a cloud. I mean, you’ll sleep like a baby here.

What makes this place special, though, is the little details. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make sure you have a great stay. There’s a lovely breakfast spread in the morning, with a mix of local and international options that’ll keep everyone happy. And the location, well, it’s perfect for exploring Brussels. You’re just a short walk from the Manneken Pis and the Sablon area, where you can find some of the best chocolate shops and antique dealers in the city.

Now, it’s not all perfect. The Wi-Fi can be a bit spotty at times, and the elevator is on the smaller side, so you might have to wait a bit during peak hours. But these are minor quibbles in an otherwise fantastic hotel. If you’re looking for a place that feels like a well-kept secret, with all the comforts of home and a location that can’t be beat, the Triplex près de la Grand-Place is your spot. Trust me on this.

Reviews of Triplex près de la Grand-Place

  • Astkhik from United States of America (8/10)

You can't beat the location. It was 5 to 10 min walking from the main attractions. The building was secure and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The apartment had everything you need. The only thing that was missing which I noted to the host is a shampoo in the bathroom. Alain is very responsive.

  • Kieron from United Kingdom (9/10)

The bed was so comfy that I am looking to get one myself now, amazing

  • Hooker from United States of America (8/10)

Location was as advertised. It's a quiet neighborhood with easy access to La Grand Place.

  • Koroma from Sierra Leone (9/10)

I particularly liked the ambience, the aesthetic set up of the facility

  • Sigita from Lithuania (8/10)

I really liked the fact that the apartment is very quiet, had comfortable bed, with all windows facing the inner courtyard – that was my main reason for choosing it in the first place. The hosts gave very detailed and illustrated instructions how to reach and enter the appartment (lock codes for check-in and out) and kindly provided free sugar, salt, peper and tea and coffee capsules enough to last for a few days' stay.

  • Karthikeyan from India (9/10)

The location. If you are a Tintinophile, then you would be delighted at the location. It’s just 5 houses away from Tintin’s own house (rather Herge’s grandmom’s house).

  • Richard from United Kingdom (9/10)

The apartment was clean and comfortable, with some nice welcoming items. The facilities were all that I was expecting and everything worked well.

  • John from Ireland (9/10)

Excellent, central location just off a quiet street; a very clean and comfortable apartment.

  • Noelia from Ireland (9/10)

Location. Lay out. Spotless. Despite the hot weather the property was fresh. Lovely to come back after being outside.

  • Panayiotis from Greece (9/10)

The Triplex appt was a nice surprise for me! The appt, which actually has five different levels, from the fully equipped kitchen in the basement, up to the really large bathroom on the fifth level is consisted of a small cosy living room, of a nice and clean bedroom and another big space on the ground floor divided into two spacious rooms where there is also the dining table. Everything was really fine, it is really enjoyable to spend time in the living room on the fourth level, there is much natural light, (Though the weather was really bad and the sky was mostly overcast, weird thing even for Brussels in mid May), anda lot of electric lamps and many many electric plugs and outlets, thing which is useful when you work with a laptop! I found very touching the gesture of the hosts to welcome me by having left on the dinning table a bunch of small different Belgian chocolates and candies plus a Belgian beer. Alain, the host, whom I met during my check out, is a very kind and helpful gentleman! I would definitely return there!
