Parc Brussels Apartment Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Parc Brussels Apartment in Koekelberg, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from this four-star property. The building sits quietly on Landsroemlaan, and you know what struck me first? How peaceful it felt compared to the busier parts of Brussels. This isn’t your typical hotel setup — it’s more like staying in a well-appointed residential building, which actually works in its favor. The entrance has this understated elegance that doesn’t scream “tourist trap,” and I appreciated that immediately.

The Neighborhood Advantage

Koekelberg might not be the first district tourists think of, but that’s exactly why it works so well. You’re close enough to reach the city center easily, yet far enough away to escape the crowds when you need to decompress. I mean, couples are rating the location 9.5 out of 10 for good reason — there’s something genuinely romantic about having your own quiet corner of Brussels. The nearby Basilica of the Sacred Heart is worth a visit (it’s massive, honestly), and you’ll find local cafés and shops that cater more to residents than tourists, which gives you a real taste of how Brussels actually lives.

The Apartment Experience

The room — well, it’s really more of an apartment — gives you space to actually spread out and settle in. Having a proper kitchen changes everything about how you experience a city, especially somewhere like Brussels where the local markets are so good. I found myself picking up fresh bread and local cheeses, making simple breakfasts while planning the day ahead. The furnishings feel contemporary without being cold, and there’s enough storage space that you’re not living out of a suitcase for your entire stay.

Practical Comforts

What I really appreciated were the thoughtful touches that make longer stays comfortable. The Wi-Fi actually works well (not always a given, let’s be honest), and the kitchen comes equipped with everything you’d need for basic cooking. Parking can be arranged, which is genuinely helpful in Brussels where street parking can be a nightmare. The building stays quiet — I never had issues with noise from other guests or the street, which made for solid sleep after long days exploring the city.

Why Guests Love It

The location rating of 9.1 from recent guests tells the real story here. You’re getting the best of both worlds — easy access to Brussels’ main attractions without paying premium prices for staying right in the tourist zone. The apartment setup means you can maintain some normal routines (morning coffee in your own space, storing leftovers, doing a bit of laundry), which honestly makes travel less exhausting. For couples especially, having your own private space to retreat to after busy sightseeing days creates a much more relaxed vacation rhythm. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like you’re living in Brussels rather than just visiting it.

Reviews of Parc Brussels Apartment

  • Ruslan from Netherlands – 1 May 2025 (9/10)

Roomy, clean, modern apartment with back garden. Good location, close to metro & bus services. Awesome park across the street. Host is readily available in case you have a question.

  • Buirette from France – 27 December 2024 (9/10)

Great place, lots of space, comfortable beds, really cool kitchen! There is a lot of light even when the weather is bad! There is a big table very useful, there is a big TV we did not use. A nice outdoor area. We really liked everything.

What could be improved: The internet in the bedroom was not available, but for some this is a plus not to have the WiFi where they sleep so it can be considered as a plus actually😉

  • Lydia from Belgium – 8 September 2024 (8/10)

Jolanda couldn't be there so her friend opened the door and was so, so friendly and lovely 🙂 The communication at all times was quick, kind and friendly, and was a highlight of this stay. On top of that, the flat is absolutely gorgeous with everything you need. This is a no brainer for anyone who wants a nice stay in Brussels /D

  • Igor from Canada – 21 August 2024 (8/10)

Quite spacious and clean apartment. Public transport and grocery stores are pretty close.
Free parking is possible at the church parking lot, although it requires 12 min walking.

  • Baptiste from France – 2 May 2024 (8/10)

Lovely flat, well equipped, clean and with super comfortable and large beds. The location is really convenient, close to city center and near to a major subway station.
As well, the owner has been very arranging and kind!
Don’t miss out one of the best staying options in Brussels!

There is a beautiful Basilica right beside the apartment, the panoramic view from it was impressive!!! There is also a nice local pub/restaurant with the view to Basilica and delicious local food.
    We had a great time!!!!
    Absolutely recommended.

What could be improved: There were few small bits, but they didn't affect our stay and overall impression.

  • Kerley from United Kingdom – 21 November 2023 (8/10)

The owner was excellent and really helpful. The apartment was clean and pretty cool.

What could be improved: Nothing really,a good experience and will book again.

  • Alasdair from United Kingdom – 7 August 2023 (8/10)

The house is in a quiet street overlooking Parc Elisabeth, in fact the most noticeable sound is that made by the parakeets that make their home in the park. Very roomy sitting room, dining room and kitchen with a balcony beyond. Comfortable beds and well appointed en suite facilities. The flat is well placed being near the Simonis travel hub. Very easy to receive the keys and to leave them at the end. My brother and I enjoyed ourselves hugely.

What could be improved: There was nothing we didn't like.
