Tucked away on Romeinsesteenweg, just off the beaten path, it’s a 4-star hotel with a rating of 8.2, and it’s got this cozy, homey vibe that’s hard to find in the city. I mean, the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with this warm, friendly atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.

The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with all the modern amenities you’d expect from a place like this – free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and a decent-sized work desk. But what sets it apart is the attention to detail. The staff, for instance, are incredibly helpful and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. They’re the kind of people who remember your name and your preferences, which is a nice touch. The breakfast spread is another highlight – a mix of local and international options that’ll keep you fueled for a day of exploring.

Now, about the location. It’s not right in the heart of the city, but that’s sort of the charm. It’s a short tram ride away from the Grand Place and other main attractions, and being a bit off the beaten path means it’s quieter and less crowded. There’s a small park nearby, which is perfect for a leisurely stroll in the evenings. Parking is available, and it’s surprisingly affordable for a city center hotel. The check-in process was smooth, and the front desk was always ready with local tips and recommendations.

In terms of timing, Brussels can get quite busy during the summer months and around holiday periods, but the Brussels Base Camp remains a peaceful retreat. The noise levels are low, and the hotel’s design helps to keep the outside world at bay. Honestly, if you’re looking for a place that feels like a home away from home, with friendly service, comfortable rooms, and a great location, the Brussels Base Camp is definitely worth considering.

  Byt je prostorný, čistý, světlý. Jedna ložnice má dvojlůžko se skříní, druhá ložnice má 2 oddělená lůžka. Další možnost přespání je dole ( byt je dvojposchoďový) v obývacím prostoru, kde jsou 2 gauče. Kuchyň je zcela vybavena. Ochotně nám byla poskytnuta i rychlovarná konvice. Je zde i mikrovlnná trouba, pečící trouba, sporák, lednice, myčka. Dvě toalety, což je velmi příjemné, jedna je v přízemí, druhá v patře vedle prostorné světlé koupelny s dvěma umyvadly a vanou. Teplá voda nebyla žádný problém po celou dobu pobytu a to jsme zde byly 4 ženy 🙂 Komunikace s majitelem i s osobou na předání klíčů probíhala vždy na velmi dobré úrovni přes whatsapp. Pár metrů od ubytování je obchod s veškerým zbožím. Ubytování se nachází blízko autobusové zastávky ( 2 minuty) a metra a ostatních busů ( ca 10 minutek).
  
  What could be improved: Zpočátku mě zarazil dotaz, zda budu potřebovat povlečení a ručníky. To je bohužel chyba bookingu, že to nemá na hlavní stránce uvedeno a proto mě ani nenapadlo se podívat úplně dolů na nabídku, kde máte přehledně vypsány veškeré příplatky. Za povlečení, za ručníky, za parkoviště, za úklid apod. Nicméně, lze si vše dokoupit. I dřívější check in ( od 17:00 hodin) a pozdější check-out ( do 10:00 hodin). Vše za poplatek. Takže doporučuji si předem vše přečíst. S majitelem je velmi dobrá domluva, takže vše bude tak, jak si objednáte.

  Very close to The Atomium. Conveniently located above a grocery store. Brussels is 25-30 mins drive. Good kitchen utensils. Very quiet. Host was very responsive but the set of instructions can be a bit too much
  
  What could be improved: Dated couch and a dated apartment in general.
  No hand soap in the toilets or kitchen, only in the bathroom.
  Some light smell in the apartment. Stronger in the lobby.
  Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds and not queen as mentioned. In fact I would say smaller than a single and was very uncomfortable for me to sleep in.
  Apartment floor was sticky and toilet not super clean.

  El tamaño es perfecto para 5 personas, las camas muy comodas y la cocina tiene todo lo necesario. El acceso al apartamento es facil. Tiene supermercados muy cerca. Buena relación calidad/precio.
  
  What could be improved: El baño y el piso podrían haber estado un poco mas limpios, los envases de jabon estaban casi terminados. La ubicación no es ideal, pero se accede facilmente en metro.
