The Hoxton, Brussels Overview
You know what, stepping into The Hoxton, Brussels, I was immediately struck by the chic, modern vibe. It’s located right at 1 Square Victoria Régina, which is actually a pretty central spot in Sint-Joost-ten-Node – you can’t miss it. Honestly, the 4-star rating and 9 out of 10 score it holds? Totally deserved.
The place is a blend of industrial chic and contemporary comfort. The lobby, with its high ceilings and warm lighting, feels like a trendy coffee shop, but you’re actually checking into a hotel. I mean, there’s even a cool little café tucked away in the corner where you can grab a coffee and a croissant in the morning. The staff? Super friendly and helpful, making the check-in process a breeze.
What makes this hotel stand out, though, is its location. You’re just a stone’s throw from the bustling Rue Antoine Dansaert, known for its hip bars and restaurants. I remember walking down this street one evening, and the aroma of Belgian waffles and the sound of laughter from the bars filled the air. It’s the kind of place where you can get a real taste of Brussels’ nightlife.
But here’s the thing – despite being in the heart of the action, once you’re back in the hotel, it’s surprisingly quiet. The rooms are well-insulated, so you won’t be kept awake by the city that never sleeps. The check-out experience was also smooth; no hassles, no delays.
In terms of practicalities, there’s paid parking nearby, which is a godsend in a city where parking can be a bit of a headache. The hotel itself is pretty quiet during the early morning hours and late at night, so light sleepers will appreciate that.
So, if you’re looking for a place that’s stylish, comfortable, and in the thick of things, but also offers a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring Brussels, The Hoxton, Brussels is your spot. It’s not just a hotel; it’s a base camp for your urban adventure.
Visitors often choose Brussels apartments over traditional hotels because they provide more space, kitchen facilities, and the opportunity to live like a local in this magnificent European capital.

The hotel is fantastic. Very quirky (like you've stepped back in time but this really worked and it didn't feel dated in any way at all) Everything is very luxurious & it has an amazingly relaxed atmosphere. The lounge, bar and restaurant area are very chic and it is very easy to get comfortable both in the daytime and night time while relaxing with a few drinks. The roof top bar is very smart & served nice food/nibbles. The 4 lifts are smooth, quiet with a very smart touchscreen system which works so well allowing you to get to your room very quickly without having to wait more than a minute at any time of day. The rooms 1806 and 1807 are amazing. Everything you could ever need, everything works and they are quite large rooms. A lovely big bathroom with a big rainfall shower which was lovely and hot at all times. The gigantic bed is unbelievably comfortable. The temperature controls are easy to understand and work well. The views are really good too especially at night with the city lit up due to the Christmas markets. Down in the bar/restaurant area the drinks aren't overpriced with cocktails, spirits, beers and tea/coffee. We had breakfast included and there is a small but healthy choice which is different to what we were expecting but the food didn't disappoint at all. It looked well presented and the quinoa pancakes with bacon and maple syrup are worthy of dying for. I have NEVER been to a hotel were any of the staff would literally do anything for you but at the Hoxton they were truly amazing. So very helpful and friendly at all times. The guys/girls on reception were something special and made us so welcome and were generally sorry to see us leave. We would happily go back without hesitation

We like the Hoxton properties as whole and the Hoxton Brussels stood out for its great location, a decent 10 minutes walk to the Grand place. Facilities were also good, featuring 2 bars and 3 restaurants.
