Super central in Brussels Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Super central in Brussels, you’ll immediately notice how the name isn’t just marketing speak — this place really is smack dab in the middle of everything. Located right on De Brouckèreplein, you’re literally standing in one of Brussels‘ most bustling squares. I mean, when couples are rating the location a solid 9.2, you know you’ve hit the sweet spot. The building itself has that classic European charm without trying too hard, and honestly, the moment you step outside, you’re already where you want to be.

The Heart of Brussels

What I love about this three-star spot is how effortlessly it connects you to the city’s pulse. You’re within walking distance of the Grand Place — and I’m talking a genuine stroll, not one of those “walking distance” claims that leaves you huffing for twenty minutes. The shopping streets branch out from here like spokes on a wheel, and you know what? You’ll find yourself popping back to the hotel throughout the day just because it’s so easy. The metro connections are right there too, which makes exploring the wider city actually enjoyable rather than a logistical nightmare.

The Room Experience

The accommodations are exactly what you’d expect from a solid three-star — clean, comfortable, and functional without any unnecessary frills. Each room feels thoughtfully arranged, making good use of the space without feeling cramped. The windows offer nice views of the square below, and there’s something quite pleasant about watching Brussels wake up in the morning from your bed. The bathrooms are modern enough, and honestly, when you’re spending most of your time exploring the city, you just need a comfortable place to crash — which this definitely provides.

Practical Perks

Here’s where the location really pays off in ways you might not immediately think about. Need breakfast? There are cafés literally steps away where locals actually go (not just tourist traps). Want to grab groceries or pharmacy items? Everything’s within a two-minute walk. The hotel staff seems to get that most guests are here for the city, not the amenities, so they focus on being helpful with directions and recommendations rather than trying to keep you on-property. It’s refreshing, actually — they know their strengths and play to them.

Why Guests Love It

Look, this isn’t going to be the most Instagram-worthy hotel you’ve ever stayed in, but it nails what matters most for a Brussels visit. That 9.2 location score isn’t an accident — couples especially seem to appreciate how easy it makes romantic evening strolls and spontaneous café stops. You’re paying for prime real estate in one of Europe’s most charming capitals, and you’re getting exactly that. When you can walk to world-class chocolate shops, historic sites, and authentic Belgian restaurant options without planning your day around transportation, well, that’s worth its weight in waffles.

Excellent location. Everything is conveniently near. Despite being in a very busy place, you can rest and sleep peacefully.
The information guide Sam provided was also very helpful.

  • Jenny from Malaysia – 7 August 2024 (7/10)

What could be improved: We have chosen this place because it was stated there is luggage storage service, but when we arrived there isn't any staff or reception counter. Over the phone we were told to take an alternative room and pay extra 50Euro for it. We have no choice but to pay, as we have planned our itinerary.

  • Federico from Thailand – 12 June 2024 (8/10)

the location was perfect for our needs, the apartment felt like a student apartment which was good, it was very quiet despite being in the center. Very good restaurants nearby. The owner was kind and guided us through the check in process.

What could be improved: The heaters were not on but it was ok the blankets did the job

Good location, comfy bed and decent size.
Sam was a very good host and answered all questions quickly. All information given was thorough at the start of the visit.

What could be improved: Having tea/coffee available could have been a nice addition. It mentions there’s a reception to leave luggage which wasn’t the case, but we were able to check in early at 11 which was very helpful.
