Studio au plein centre de la ville Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Studio au plein centre de la ville on Boulevard Anspach, you’ll immediately understand why this three-star property gets such high marks for location. I mean, you’re literally in the thick of everything — the energy of central Brussels hits you the moment you step outside. The building itself is classic Brussels architecture, nothing flashy, but it fits perfectly into the streetscape. What struck me most was how the studio manages to feel like a proper local apartment rather than just another tourist accommodation.

Location & Neighborhood

Honestly, the location is pretty much unbeatable if you want to experience Brussels like a local. Boulevard Anspach runs right through the city center, and you’re maybe a five-minute walk from Grand Place — though you’ll probably stumble upon it accidentally while exploring the winding streets. The Bourse is practically next door, and there’s this constant buzz of trams, cafés, and people going about their daily business. Couples especially seem to love wandering these streets together (no surprise they rated the location 9.1), and you know what? I get it. There’s something romantic about having authentic Brussels right at your doorstep rather than being stuck in some sterile hotel district.

The Studio Space

The studio itself is compact but thoughtfully arranged — exactly what you’d expect from a well-designed city apartment. Everything you need is there without feeling cramped, and the setup actually encourages you to live like a Brussels resident for a few days. The kitchenette means you can grab fresh ingredients from the local markets and cook something simple, or just store those amazing Belgian chocolates you’ll inevitably buy too many of. The windows face the boulevard, so you get that authentic city soundtrack — which I found charming, though light sleepers might want to pack earplugs.

Exploring from Here

What I loved most was how easy it became to slip into a Brussels routine. Morning coffee at the café downstairs, then maybe a wander through the Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert (literally around the corner), or a quick tram ride to anywhere else you want to explore. The metro connections are excellent from here — you can reach the European Quarter or Atomium without any hassle. But honestly, you might find yourself just staying in the immediate area because there’s so much to discover on foot. The density of good restaurants, quirky shops, and historic spots within walking distance is pretty remarkable.

Why Guests Love It

This place works because it doesn’t try to be something it’s not. You’re getting a genuine Brussels experience in a practical, well-located space that happens to be incredibly affordable for what you get. The 7.7 rating reflects exactly what you’d expect — solid, reliable, and perfectly positioned without any unnecessary frills. If you want to feel like you’re actually staying in Brussels rather than just visiting it, Studio au plein centre de la ville delivers on that promise. Plus, when couples consistently rate the location above 9 out of 10, you know you’re onto something special.

  • Brunoni from Italy – 21 March 2025 (8/10)

Posizione ideale in centro a Bruxelles, in zona pedonale

  • Donisk from Lithuania – 25 March 2024 (5/10)

The place is nice and in good location. Was very clean and safe.

What could be improved: At the day I have arrived just had few emails about the time of check in since 5 pm and the code I will get on the day of arrival at 5 pm.
Believe me, at 5:50 pm I still was on the street. Was calling, emailing, texting on whatsap and all possible ways contacting the owner and nothing. Was afried to stay on the street ower night. Finaly went in to the apartment getting text with the code (the owne'rs mother) forgot to sent.
I am very sorry, but if you want to nervouse so much and feel homeless then this place is good for you. .

  • Thomas from France – 15 September 2023 (8/10)
