ibis Styles Hotel Brussels Centre Stéphanie Overview

You know what, the ibis Styles Hotel Brussels Centre Stéphanie is actually a pretty solid choice if you’re looking for a 3-star stay in Brussels. I mean, it’s located on Chaussée de Charleroi, which is a main road, but honestly, it’s not as busy as you’d think. The address is 66, Sint-Gillis / Saint-Gilles, 1060 Brussels, Belgium, and it’s got a rating of 8.1, which is pretty good for the price.

The first thing you’ll notice when you arrive is the modern design and friendly staff. It’s not exactly a boutique hotel, but there’s a certain charm to it. The rooms are comfortable, with a decent amount of space and pretty decent soundproofing, which is a nice surprise for a city hotel. You’ll find yourself surrounded by local spots – there’s a great bakery just around the corner on Rue de la Fontaine, and the park, Parc du Cinquantenaire, is a short walk away, perfect for a quiet morning stroll.

Practically speaking, the check-in was smooth and the parking situation is manageable, though it’s not free, so be prepared for that. The hotel’s location is actually quite handy, being a bit off the beaten path but close enough to the city center for easy access. You can hop on the metro at the nearby station and be in the heart of Brussels in no time. It’s also worth noting that the area is pretty quiet at night, so light sleepers won’t be bothered by noise.

In terms of what makes it special, it’s the little things. The breakfast buffet is surprisingly good, with a variety of options that cater to different tastes. And the staff, they’re really attentive and helpful, which can make a big difference during your stay. The hotel’s rating of 8.1 is well-deserved, in my opinion.

So, if you’re looking for a comfortable, affordable stay in Brussels with a bit of local flavor, the ibis Styles Hotel Brussels Centre Stéphanie is worth considering. It’s not going to blow you away with luxury, but it’s a solid choice for a hassle-free stay. Plus, the location is kind of perfect if you want to explore Brussels without being right in the thick of it.

Many travelers prefer to book apartments in Brussels through local agencies that offer personalized recommendations and insider knowledge about the best neighborhoods for exploring the city’s rich cultural heritage.

Check in was so easy and smooth, the lovely lady at reception allowed us to access one of our rooms and leave luggage as we arrived slightly before check in time. Location was also wonderful, alongside that the underground parking was also excellent. The size of our room was great, a double bed and a sofa bed. Fridge available, iron and ironing board and toiletries were also provided. We added on breakfast very morning, paying in reception. It was €18, but children ate free with paying adults so was worthwhile if travelling with children. Also free coffee 24/7 in hotel lobby was great. Also had a small children's area downstairs. Was very clean and always staff around if you needed them. Would return and stay again.
