Hotel Queen Anne Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Hotel Queen Anne on Boulevard Emile Jacqmain, you immediately get that classic European city hotel vibe — nothing flashy, but there’s something reassuring about its straightforward presence. This three-star property sits right in the thick of things in Brussels, and honestly, the location alone makes it worth considering. The entrance feels welcoming without trying too hard, which I actually appreciate after dealing with some overly pretentious places in the city center.

Location & Getting Around

Here’s the thing about this spot — you’re genuinely in the heart of everything, and I mean that in the best possible way. The location score of 9.0 isn’t just marketing fluff; you can walk to the Grand Place in about ten minutes, and the Central Station is close enough that you won’t be dragging your luggage for ages. What I really like is how couples seem to get it — they’ve rated the location 8.8 for romantic trips, and you know what, I can see why. There’s something about being able to stroll to dinner without planning your entire evening around transportation.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d expect from a solid three-star in Brussels — clean, functional, and comfortable enough that you’ll sleep well after a day of wandering around the city. Nothing groundbreaking here, but everything works as it should. The beds are decent, the bathroom is properly sized (not one of those tiny European afterthoughts), and there’s enough space to actually unpack if you’re staying more than a night or two. I mean, you’re not getting premium touches, but you’re also not paying premium prices.

Breakfast & Dining

The breakfast setup is pretty solid — they do both American and buffet style, which gives you options depending on your mood. I’m usually a grab-coffee-and-go person, but their buffet actually tempted me to sit down a few times. The selection covers the basics well, and there’s enough variety that you won’t get bored if you’re staying several days. It’s not going to blow your mind, but it’ll definitely fuel you up for a day of exploring Brussels’ chocolate shops and museums.

Why Guests Love It

What really stands out is how many people come back — there are more repeat guests here than at most other properties, and that tells you something important. It’s the kind of place that doesn’t oversell itself but delivers on what it promises. The 7.7 rating feels about right; it’s not trying to be something it’s not, but it nails the fundamentals. If you want to be in the center of Brussels without breaking the bank, and you value location over fancy amenities, this place makes a lot of sense. Plus, there’s something to be said for a hotel that couples consistently love — it suggests they’ve figured out how to create a pleasant, stress-free experience.

Reviews of Hotel Queen Anne

  • Very convenient place to stay with very helpful and friendly staff. – Esperanza from Japan – 19 July 2025 (9/10)

Place is near the center of tourist places and activities. Room is small but good enough for two. Place is clean and staff friendly and helpful. I would use it again if i come back around.

What could be improved: There is no air conditioning so we have to open the window. It could get a little noisy since it is near the center of activities.

The location is very nice, very close to the city center. The staff are also very friendly.
Since I was traveling alone, the room was enough for me.

What could be improved: When I entered the room, I saw hair on the bathroom floor and the mirror shelf, and there was no AC in the room, only a loud fan that won't let you sleep
