Slina Hotel Brussels Overview
Tucked away on Chaussée de Mons in Anderlecht, the Slina Hotel Brussels is a cozy 3-star retreat with a 7.5 rating, offering a homely feel amidst the bustling city. My first impression was one of warmth and comfort, as I stepped into the lobby that smelled faintly of fresh coffee – a small detail that made me feel right at home.
Honestly, what struck me most about the Slina Hotel was its proximity to local gems. Just a stone’s throw away from the hotel, you’ll find the bustling Place Sainte-Croix, where the locals gather for lively markets and street performances. The hotel’s location, you know, it’s sort of a hidden gem, as it’s not in the heart of the city’s tourist areas, but it’s actually closer to the authentic Brussels experience. Parking was a breeze, and the check-in was a smooth, friendly affair – no hassles there.
The rooms are simple, but they’ve got everything you need for a comfortable stay. The beds are firm and the linens are fresh, and I appreciated the quiet hours they strictly maintain, which let me enjoy a good night’s sleep. The only critique I have is that the Wi-Fi could be a bit more reliable, but hey, it’s a small price to pay for the overall experience.
So, why should you care about the Slina Hotel Brussels? Well, if you’re looking for a place that’s more about the experience than the glitz, this is it. It’s not just a hotel; it’s a gateway to the real Brussels, away from the tourist traps. The staff are genuinely warm and helpful, and the location is perfect for those who want to explore Brussels like a local. It’s a place where you can unwind after a day of sightseeing, and honestly, that’s what travel is all about, isn’t it?

Location wasn’t bad. Walked 10-15 minutes from the train station , and it was on the high street , very busy area during the day but you can get anything u wish for. 10-15 minutes walk to grand palace and other historical views. I basically walked everywhere. Bed was comfy no issues , had a big enough window from where you can enjoy the night street view 😊 nothing fun , walking around was safe had no issues.
