Guest house La Maison Chantecler Overview

Tucked away on Avenue Circulaire in the heart of Uccle, Brussels, I stumbled upon the charming Guest house La Maison Chantecler. You know, the kind of place that feels like a home away from home – honestly, it was a breath of fresh air. With a 4-star rating and an impressive 8.7 score, it’s clear that this guest house has something special going on.

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The scent of fresh flowers filled the air, and the soft jazz playing in the background set the tone for a relaxing stay. The rooms are well-appointed, with a touch of modern elegance that doesn’t feel overbearing. You’ll find all the essentials you need, from a comfortable bed to a spotless bathroom – and the Wi-Fi is surprisingly fast, which is a huge plus.

What really sets La Maison Chantecler apart, though, is its location. Just a stone’s throw from the bustling streets of Avenue Louise, you’re in the perfect spot to explore the city’s chic boutiques and vibrant cafes. But honestly, the best part is coming back to the quiet serenity of the guest house after a day of sightseeing. The check-in experience was smooth, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home.

Now, I have to mention the breakfast – it’s not just your standard continental fare. They serve up a delicious spread of local delicacies, and the fresh-brewed coffee is simply divine. The best time to visit, I’d say, is during the spring or early summer when the weather is pleasant, and the city is buzzing with life. But even in the quieter months, there’s a certain charm to the place that makes it worth a visit.

In the end, if you’re looking for a cozy, comfortable, and well-located place to stay in Brussels, La Maison Chantecler is definitely worth considering. It’s not just a hotel – it’s an experience.

Early hotels booking in Brussels is essential during major events like the European Summit meetings, as accommodations fill up quickly with visitors eager to experience the city’s renowned chocolate culture and historic architecture.

The room was nicely presented and comfortable. There was plenty of space in the cupboards. The staff was very friendly and provided helpful assistance. The property is nicely secluded when driving through the entrance path. I really liked the style of the house and its perspective on the garden and pool.

  • Stella from United Kingdom (9/10)

The location was excellent for us as our daughter lives only 5 minutes walk from the property.
All the staff were very helpful and friendly, even when we thought we might not make it because of Eurostar cancellations.
We had a large bedroom and a separate bathroom for our sole use.
