Located on 59 Rue des Tongres, it’s not just in Etterbeek, but it’s actually in the heart of the city, making it super convenient for exploring Brussels. Honestly, the check-in experience was smooth and the staff were friendly, which always sets a great tone for your stay.

What makes this place special is the attention to detail. The rooms are well-appointed and the decor is modern, but not overly flashy. The soundproofing is pretty good, which is a huge plus considering how lively Brussels can get, especially during the summer months. I remember waking up to the smell of fresh coffee wafting through the hallways, which was a lovely way to start the day. The location is perfect for exploring, with the beautiful Cinquantenaire Park just a stone’s throw away. You can easily walk to the European Parliament and the iconic Atomium too.

If I had to nitpick, the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty at times, but that’s a minor issue in an otherwise great stay. Parking can be a bit tricky, but there’s a garage nearby which is a relief. Honestly, the 4-star rating and 7.7 score are well-deserved. I’d definitely recommend Elegant Flat Cinquantenaire to anyone looking for a comfortable, stylish base in Brussels. It’s not just a place to sleep; it’s a home away from home with a touch of Belgian charm.

  Clean and comfortable.
  
  What could be improved: On leaving the key code sent by email for the key lock box did not work. On calling booking.com they told me I had stayed in the wrong apartment. How could that be the case when they told me to use the top lock box and the key code and that the flat was on floor 2. The keys did not work for the flat door in the right. But worked for the flat on the left. How did I stay in the wrong apartment when they told me keys only fitted one flat. I had to ring booking.com twice before being told a new key code for the key safe. This made me late for a meeting.

  We stayed at this accommodation in February 2025. The location was excellent, with easy access to public transportation, which made getting around the city very convenient.
  
  What could be improved: There were a few things that we wish had been mentioned in advance. The apartment is located on the third floor of a building with a narrow staircase and no elevator, which made carrying our luggage quite challenging.
  
  The biggest issue we encountered was cleanliness. The fridge was extremely dirty, the kitchen appeared as if it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, and the cutlery and utensils were not properly washed. Additionally, one of the beds was located inside the kitchen, and to access the bathroom, we had to pass through the other bedroom, which was not ideal for privacy. The closets were covered in dust, which made the space feel unkempt.
  
  Another inconvenience was the lack of responsiveness from the host. Communication was quite slow, and it often took a long time to receive a reply to our emails.
  
  While the location was great, these issues affected our overall experience. Unfortunately, we would not choose to stay here again, but with better maintenance and more accurate listing details, this accommodation could be a much better option.

  Location was great, near Metro station and not far from center. Good park of 50th independence anniversary for walking and spending time, Carrefour shop is just near apartment as well many places with food. Apartment was well equipped, clean, no problem with getting the keys and even more – host made possible for us to check in 1 our earlier what was super comfortable for us

  What could be improved: After taking a shower the water didn't drain very well.
  The electric kettle didn't work. We used the classic kettle instead.

  What could be improved: I travelled alone. The wc and bathroom are inside the bedroom. If someone else slept in the living room where there is a large bed, and wanted to go to the wc during the night, he/she would have to go into the bedroom. Just useful info for those not travelling as a family.

  The apartment is nicely arranged, comfortable and clean. It has everything we need.
  There is no elevator and narrow stairs, this can be a problem for someone. It didn't bother us and we knew it from other comments.
  Very good position, really close to Jubelpark and metro station.
  There are few shops across the street.
