Chinese Pavilion Park – Magnificent Apartment Brussels Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Chinese Pavilion Park – Magnificent Apartment Brussels, you know you’ve found something special. This four-star property sits in Laeken, and honestly, the name gives away exactly what you’re getting — it’s right across from the stunning Chinese Pavilion in the royal park. I mean, how often do you get to wake up with views of an actual 18th-century pagoda? The building itself has that classic Brussels charm, but what really caught my attention was how quiet everything felt despite being so close to the city center.
Location & Neighborhood
Laeken is one of those neighborhoods that locals love but tourists often miss — which works in your favor, actually. You’re about 15 minutes from Grand Place by tram, but you get to stay in this leafy area where the Belgian royal family has their residence. The Chinese Pavilion and Japanese Tower are literally your backyard (couples seem to get this — they rated the location 8.1, and I totally understand why). There’s free private parking on site too, which is honestly a godsend in Brussels where finding a spot can be a nightmare.
The Apartment Experience
This isn’t your typical hotel room — you’re getting a full apartment setup that actually feels like a home. The space is generous, with a proper kitchen that’s fully equipped (I’m talking real appliances, not those tiny hotel versions). The living area flows nicely into the dining space, and the bedroom is separate, which makes a huge difference when you’re staying more than a couple nights. Everything’s been recently updated, but they kept some of those original Brussels apartment features that give the place character.
Daily Life Here
What I love about staying here is how you slip into a routine — you know what I mean? Mornings start with coffee while looking out at the park, then maybe a walk through the royal grounds before heading into the city. The tram stop is just a few minutes away, so getting around is actually easier than staying in the touristy center where everything’s crowded. There’s a decent restaurant within walking distance, plus a small market where you can grab groceries if you want to use that kitchen. The whole setup just works for people who want to experience Brussels like they live there.
Why Guests Love It
Recent guests rated the location 8.4, and after spending time here, that makes perfect sense. You get the best of both worlds — peaceful surroundings with those incredible park views, but still easy access to everything Brussels has to offer. The apartment style means you’re not cramped into a tiny hotel room, and having your own space to spread out makes such a difference. Plus, there’s something pretty magical about having the Chinese Pavilion as your neighbor — it’s one of those details that makes your trip feel special without trying too hard.
Apartments in Brussels provide travelers with an authentic local experience, allowing them to shop at neighborhood markets and cook with fresh ingredients from the renowned Belgian culinary traditions.

Reviews of Chinese Pavilion Park – Magnificent Apartment Brussels
Very good – Sofija_l from Iceland – 10 July 2025 (8/10)
The appartment is spacious, close to public transport and has all basic necessities. The host was very helpful and gave us some tips about Brussels.
What could be improved: The appartment is quite old and some appliances might need to be replaced, but the host is working on it. We booked the appartment because of its vicinity to the huge Laeken park, which turns out to be property of the king for the most part and therefore unaccessible. This is of course not the fault of the appartment, I just wanted to warn other travellers having similar thoughts.

What could be improved: Es un piso antiguo y tal vez podria estar algo más limpio. Es un primer piso y hay que subir las escaleras.
