Down Town Penthouse with Private Parking Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Down Town Penthouse with Private Parking on Rue de Witte de Haelen, you immediately get that “this is something special” feeling. I mean, finding a penthouse in central Brussels with its own parking spot is honestly like striking gold — anyone who’s driven around this city knows exactly what I’m talking about. The building itself has that classic Brussels charm, but what really sets this four-star place apart is how it manages to feel both sophisticated and genuinely welcoming at the same time.

Location & Getting Around

You know what’s brilliant about this spot? You’re literally in the heart of everything, but somehow it doesn’t feel chaotic. The Grand Place is just a short walk away — I’m talking maybe ten minutes if you’re strolling leisurely and stopping to peek into shop windows. What I really appreciated was how easy it was to explore on foot during the day, then actually have somewhere to park the car when you need it. Trust me, after spending a day wandering around the Sablon district or checking out the Royal Museums, having that guaranteed parking spot feels like pure genius.

The Penthouse Experience

The apartment itself is honestly impressive — you get these great city views that make you feel like you’re seeing Brussels from a completely different perspective. The space is well-designed with a proper kitchen that’s actually functional (not one of those tiny hotel kitchenettes that can barely handle making coffee). I found myself spending quite a bit of time just enjoying the atmosphere, especially in the evenings when the city lights start twinkling below. The whole setup works perfectly whether you’re planning romantic dinners or just want the flexibility to grab groceries from the local markets and cook something yourself.

Practical Comforts

What really won me over were the thoughtful details — the kind of stuff that shows someone actually understands what travelers need. The main room is spacious enough that you don’t feel like you’re living out of a suitcase, and there’s genuine attention to comfort throughout. The private parking situation is honestly worth its weight in gold if you’re driving, but even if you’re not, the location means you’re perfectly positioned for Brussels’ excellent public transport. I actually found myself using the trams and metro more than expected because everything was so accessible.

Why Guests Love It

After staying here, I completely understand why couples rate this place so highly — there’s something genuinely romantic about having your own penthouse retreat in the middle of such a vibrant city. The combination of privacy, space, and that unbeatable location creates this perfect balance where you can dive into Brussels’ amazing food scene, explore the historic neighborhoods, then retreat to your own peaceful corner above it all. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like a temporary local rather than just another tourist, and honestly, that’s exactly what you want when you’re discovering a city like Brussels.

Reviews of Down Town Penthouse with Private Parking

  • Lawicki from United Kingdom – 26 May 2025 (9/10)

Close to the city centre. Quiet area. Nice and tidy , spacious penthouse with a huge terrace. We found there everything we needed to spend a few days comfortably. Very nice and friendly host. Car park in the private locked garage. Strongly recommended.

  • Colin from France – 20 May 2025 (8/10)

The hosts were very welcoming, and helpful. The property is on the second floor and our suitcases were carried up for us as there is no lift. The penthouse is light and spacious, and we were able to make use of the terrace in the beautiful weather. Parking is at a premium in the area, so it was great to be able to secure the car in a garage. Nothing was too much trouble for our hostess Anna, who arranged to provide a new kettle and garden furniture for the terrace. There is an abundance of restaurants and entertainment only a short walk away, and Brussels centre is not much farther.

What could be improved: Nothing really. The one or two problems we had were dealt with immediately by Anna, who could not have been more helpful.

  • Veselin from Bulgaria – 22 April 2025 (9/10)

Good location, nice large rooms and terrace

  • Daisy from United Kingdom – 5 March 2025 (9/10)

  • Hrvoje from Croatia – 3 March 2025 (9/10)

The apartment is excellent, well equipped for a stay, great location, close to the center, restaurants, shops, recommended for accommodation…

  • Daniela from Australia – 20 February 2025 (8/10)

    It was comfortable and warm.

What could be improved: The stairs were a little difficult to get up with a heavy suitcase. Lucky my friend's brother was there to assist as I would have struggled.

  • Marcelo from Spain – 2 November 2024 (9/10)

The penthouse is incredible, amazing views from the terrace and the apartment in general is in great conditions. We just stayed for a night so we didn't have much time to enjoy it fully, but it is an amazing place to relax and rest. Beds super comfortable, shower, the fully equiped kitchen, and the most important part for me, the private parking. 10 points!

What could be improved: Nothing really.

  • Ahmed from Oman – 25 October 2024 (9/10)

The host is really nice, nice apartment with access to roof, clean, private parking

What could be improved: The bed was not comfortable to me

  • My from Netherlands – 6 August 2024 (9/10)

    Great decoration, clean, comfy.
location is quiet, is close to the Sint Catherine Sq and restaurants, public parking is available.

What could be improved: at 7.30 am you will hear the first flight above the house.

  • Adam from United Kingdom – 11 July 2024 (9/10)

Great location, nice terrace, well equipped.

What could be improved: Little bit noisy, but to be expected in a big city.
