Cosy two bedroom apartment in Brussels Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to the Cosy two bedroom apartment in Brussels, you immediately get the sense that you’ve stumbled onto something locals would actually choose for themselves. This four-star property sits on Avenue des Courses in the vibrant Ixelles neighborhood, and honestly, the location alone makes it worth considering. The building has that understated Brussels charm — not flashy, but you can tell it’s well-maintained and thoughtfully managed.
The Ixelles Advantage
Here’s what I love about staying in Ixelles — you’re close enough to the city center to walk or take a quick tram ride, but you’re actually living like a local rather than being stuck in tourist central. Avenue des Courses puts you near some genuinely good cafés and shops that aren’t just there to catch passing visitors. The couples who stay here clearly get it (they rate the location 9.5 out of 10), and I mean, when you can grab fresh bread from a neighborhood bakery in the morning and still be at the Grand Place in fifteen minutes, that’s the sweet spot right there.
The Space Itself
The apartment setup works really well — two bedrooms means you’re not cramped if you’re traveling with friends or family, and there’s something refreshing about having actual living space instead of just a hotel room. The furnishings strike that balance between comfortable and stylish without trying too hard. You know what I appreciate? The kitchen is actually functional, not just decorative. Sometimes you want to make coffee your way or grab some Belgian cheese and bread for a simple lunch, and you can actually do that here.
Neighborhood Life
Ixelles has this great mix of university energy and established residential calm — during the day you’ll see students from ULB mixing with families doing their shopping, and in the evenings the local bars fill up with a good crowd. The area around Avenue des Courses feels safe to walk around, even late at night, which matters when you’re exploring a new city. There’s also this cluster of antique shops and vintage stores within a few blocks if you’re into that sort of thing, plus the weekly market at Place Eugène Flagey is absolutely worth timing your stay around.
Why Guests Love It
The 8.4 rating reflects what you’d expect — it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Brussels, but it delivers on the things that actually matter. The location consistently gets high marks (8.5 from recent guests), and after staying here, I get why. You’re positioned perfectly to experience Brussels as more than just a tourist destination. The apartment gives you flexibility that traditional hotels can’t match, whether that’s sleeping in and making your own breakfast or having space to spread out after long days of sightseeing. It’s the kind of place where you feel settled rather than just passing through.
Savvy travelers reserve a hotel in Brussels before summer brings open-air park concerts, day trips to Bruges and Ghent, and warm evenings on the Grand Place.

The property is really mice warm and clean. There is a lot of space and it was nice to chill in the living room after the Christmas market trip.

The location was great and it was really easy to communicate with our host. The apartment was lovely and light, secure, and well-equipped.
What could be improved: I was expecting that the sofa would be a sofa-bed but it wasn’t, so was slightly less comfortable than anticipated.
