Cosy small studio Overview
First Impressions
When I first walked into Cosy small studio, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from the name — but you know what, sometimes the simplest descriptions are the most accurate. This four-star place really nails what it promises: a perfectly sized space that feels like home from the moment you step inside. The groundfloor location on Rue François Gay makes everything so much easier when you’re dragging luggage around, and I mean, who doesn’t appreciate not having to hunt for elevators or climb stairs after a long travel day?
Location & Neighborhood
Sint-Pieters-Woluwe is one of those Brussels neighborhoods that locals love but tourists often miss — which honestly works in your favor. You’re far enough from the tourist crowds but close enough to actually get places without spending half your day on transport. The area has this residential charm that makes you feel like you’re experiencing real Brussels life, not just the postcard version. I noticed couples seem to gravitate toward this spot, and after staying here, I totally get why the location gets such high marks from recent guests.
The Space
The studio setup is really well thought out — everything you need without feeling cramped or cluttered. The room flows naturally from sleeping area to living space, and there’s actually enough storage for a proper stay (not just a quick overnight). What struck me most was how the natural light fills the space during the day, making it feel much larger than it technically is. The furnishings are modern but comfortable, the kind of stuff you’d actually choose for your own place rather than generic hotel pieces.
Daily Life Here
Having your own space changes the whole travel experience — you can grab groceries from the local shops, spread out your things properly, and actually relax instead of feeling like you’re camping in someone else’s space. The neighborhood has some great little cafes and bakeries within walking distance, plus you’re well-connected to central Brussels when you want to dive into the main attractions. I found myself spending more time just enjoying the area around the studio rather than rushing off to tick boxes on a tourist list.
Why Guests Love It
This place works because it doesn’t try to be something it’s not — it’s exactly what you’d want for a proper Brussels stay. The 8.9 rating makes perfect sense when you experience how everything just works smoothly here. Couples especially seem to appreciate having their own space to decompress and plan their days, rather than being stuck in a tiny hotel room with nowhere to really settle in. It’s the kind of place where you can actually picture yourself living for a week or two, which honestly is the best compliment I can give any accommodation.

I only stayed very briefly, but Maria had made sure the studio was wonderfully cool in the middle of a heatwave, which in itself was already impressive! The place was spotless, nicely finished and very comfortable.
