Cosy appartement brussels Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Cosy appartement brussels on Rue Terre-Neuve, you’ll notice it’s tucked into one of those classic Brussels residential streets that feels authentically local rather than touristy. The building itself has that understated Belgian charm — nothing flashy, but solid and welcoming. I mean, the name pretty much tells you what you’re getting, and honestly, that’s exactly what this three-star place delivers. It’s the kind of spot where you feel like you’re staying in someone’s well-maintained apartment rather than a sterile hotel room.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s what I love about this area — you’re right in the heart of Brussels without being stuck in the middle of tourist chaos. Rue Terre-Neuve puts you within walking distance of the Grand Place (maybe 10 minutes if you stroll), but the street itself has that residential vibe where locals actually live and work. There’s a small grocery store around the corner, and you know what, that matters when you want to grab some Belgian beer or chocolate to enjoy in your room. The metro connections are solid too, so getting around the city is actually pretty straightforward from here.
The Apartment Experience
The rooms at Cosy appartement brussels feel more like, well, actual apartments than hotel rooms — which makes sense given the name. You’ll get a proper kitchenette setup, which is honestly a game-changer if you’re staying more than a night or two. The furnishing is simple but functional, nothing fancy but everything works as it should. I particularly appreciated having space to spread out a bit, something you don’t always get with three-star properties in city centers. The Wi-Fi is reliable (always important), and the heating works well during those chilly Brussels months.
What Sets It Apart
Recent guests have been rating the location really highly, and I can see why — it’s that sweet spot between central and livable. The fact that couples especially seem to love this place makes sense when you experience it yourself. There’s something intimate about having your own little Brussels apartment, even temporarily. You can cook a simple meal together, walk to dinner in the old town, or just sit with a coffee and watch the neighborhood come to life in the morning. It’s not trying to be something it’s not, which is refreshing in a city where some hotels can feel a bit pretentious.
Why Guests Love It
Look, Cosy appartement brussels isn’t going to win any design awards, but that’s sort of missing the point. People keep coming back because it delivers exactly what it promises — a comfortable, well-located base that feels like home. The value is solid for what you get, especially considering you’re staying right in Brussels’ city center. If you’re the type of traveler who wants to experience a city like a local rather than a tourist, this place hits that mark perfectly. Just don’t expect upscale amenities — expect a genuine, no-nonsense Brussels experience that actually lets you settle in and enjoy the city.
Locals suggest to book apartments in Brussels near the Grand Place for chocolatiers, waffle stands, and easy walks to the Royal Galleries.

Chrystelle from Spain – 2 June 2025 (1/10)
Just the day I landed in Brussels, and after having booked and paid months in advance, the first message I received after switching off airplane mode was from the accommodation saying they had canceled my reservation.
What could be improved: They told me they had contacted Booking and that someone from Booking would call me to arrange a new place. But when I finally managed to speak to someone at Booking, no one knew anything. I had to handle everything myself and find a last-minute hotel — which was, of course, more expensive!Walter from Italy – 15 May 2025 (6/10)
Dettagli e finiture basiche o precarie (rubinetto del lavandino basculante)Vaida from Lithuania – 5 May 2025 (8/10)
