Appartbrussels Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Appartbrussels on Boulevard Adolphe Max, you immediately get that “I’m in the thick of things” feeling. This three-star property sits right in the heart of Brussels, and I mean really in the heart — you’re literally steps away from everything that matters. The building itself has that classic European charm without being stuffy, and honestly, the location alone makes this place worth considering.
Location That Actually Matters
Here’s what I love about staying here — you can walk to Grand Place in about five minutes, which means you’re never more than a short stroll from the best waffles and chocolate in the city. The Central Station is practically around the corner, so if you’re doing day trips to Bruges or Antwerp, you won’t be dragging your luggage across town. Boulevard Adolphe Max itself is one of those bustling Brussels streets where there’s always something happening, but the apartment units are surprisingly quiet once you’re inside.
The Space Itself
What sets Appartbrussels apart is that you’re getting actual apartment-style accommodations rather than just a standard hotel room. Each unit comes with a proper kitchenette, which is honestly a game-changer when you want to grab fresh ingredients from the local markets and cook something simple. The spaces feel more like temporary homes than hotel rooms — there’s enough room to spread out, and you’re not living out of a suitcase the entire time. The furnishings are modern and functional, nothing fancy but everything you actually need.
Practical Perks
One thing that surprised me was how well-equipped everything is for the price point. The Wi-Fi actually works properly (you know how hit-or-miss that can be), and having a full kitchen means you can save money by not eating every meal out. There’s no on-site restaurant, but honestly, with this location you’d be crazy not to explore the incredible food scene right outside your door. The staff is helpful without being overbearing, and they seem to genuinely know the neighborhood well enough to give solid recommendations.
Why Guests Love It
The location score of 9.2 isn’t just marketing fluff — couples especially seem to get it, rating the spot 9.4 for romantic trips. I can see why, actually. You’re close enough to everything to be spontaneous, but the apartment setup gives you that cozy, intimate vibe that regular hotels just can’t match. Whether you want to wander through the Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert or catch a late dinner in Sainte-Catherine, you’re never more than a few minutes away. For the price and the freedom it gives you to experience Brussels like a local rather than a tourist, Appartbrussels hits that sweet spot between convenience and authenticity.
Travelers should reserve a hotel in Brussels at least two months ahead of their visit to ensure availability and secure better rates, especially during the peak summer season when the city hosts numerous cultural festivals.

Very good location, very central. Host was very pleasant & helpful. Beds very comfortable.
What could be improved: There is no lift & the stairs are steep & spiral – most places in Brussels seem to be the same.Madamair from Thailand – 20 April 2025 (9/10)
Nice room, great location
Ryan from Malta – 23 March 2025 (9/10)
The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Brussels, making it easy to explore the city. The apartment was comfortable and well-suited for a short stay.
What could be improved: The apartment is on the 3rd floor with no lift, so be prepared for a bit of a climb, especially with luggage.Oya from Turkey – 15 November 2024 (8/10)
Location, size of the flat, fast wifi, facilities in the flat (coffee machine, iron, large fridge, kitchen utilities, etc.)
What could be improved: The water in the shower suddenly became cold and hot, tv remote was not working, stairs were very narrow.Cindy from Netherlands – 18 October 2024 (8/10)
The hotel room was nice, comfortable with everything we needed. The location was super good, not right in the city center but pretty close to get there walking and the neighborhood was relaxing with a few close restaurant options to chose from. You also have a metro station one block away so you can get anywhere easily even if you don't want to walk.
What could be improved: You had to climb 4 sets of stairs to get to the room and they were tiny which made it even harder. The tv's remote didn't work so you couldn't really use.Rachmi from Indonesia – 19 September 2024 (9/10)
The apartment is located perfectly, near the grand place, very close to metro (only 100m). The inside is very homey, all available, view is good to outide. The host is nice.
What could be improved: No elevator, just small stairs. Be mindful if you bring lots of luggage.Kumarbek from Ukraine – 24 March 2024 (9/10)
I like the stuff most of all. They are very helpful. We asked for another shampoo and tea bags. Even if they were not obliged she gave us some. The location is perfect. In the middle of the city. Close to all sightseeings. The metro is just near the apartment. The bed was so comfy 👍🏻😍. Definitely will come again
What could be improved: Everything was greatAngelos from Malta – 22 January 2024 (9/10)

What could be improved: Stairs too long, no shampooKatarina from Croatia – 15 January 2024 (9/10)
Clean, good location. Great host.
Sophia from United Kingdom – 6 January 2024 (9/10)
Great location and very kind hosts. Warm and comfortable apartment.
What could be improved: The street was noisy at night which was probably unavoidable since the apartment is in the city centre.
