Amazing flat-Center of Brussels Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Amazing flat-Center of Brussels on Rue de Malines, you immediately get that “I’m in the heart of it all” feeling. This four-star property sits right in the center of Brussels, and honestly, the location alone makes it worth considering. The building has that classic European charm you’d expect, but what really struck me was how quiet the street feels despite being so central — you know how rare that is in a major city center.
The Space
The apartment itself is exactly what it promises to be — a proper flat rather than just a hotel room. You’ve got a full kitchen setup, which I actually used more than I expected (there’s something satisfying about making coffee your way in the morning). The space feels lived-in rather than sterile, if that makes sense. It’s clean and well-maintained, but has personality — the kind of place where you can spread out your stuff and actually feel at home for a few days.
Location Perks
Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re walking distance from basically everything that matters in Brussels. The Grand Place is maybe ten minutes on foot, and you can easily wander to all the main attractions without dealing with public transport. But more importantly, you’re in a real neighborhood with actual Belgians going about their daily lives. There’s a bakery around the corner that locals queue up at every morning, and several cafés where you can sit with a beer and watch the world go by. The surrounding streets offer authentic local experiences.
Practical Matters
The 7.9 rating makes sense once you’ve stayed here — it’s solid without being flashy. Everything works as it should, the Wi-Fi is reliable (crucial for me), and the whole setup just feels effortless. Couples seem to particularly love this place, and I can see why — there’s something romantic about having your own little Brussels pied-à-terre. You’re not dealing with hotel lobbies or breakfast schedules; you just live like a local for however long you’re there. The thoughtful design and attention to detail throughout make all the difference.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets this place apart is that perfect balance between independence and location. You get the freedom of your own space — cook when you want, come and go as you please — but you’re still in the absolute center of one of Europe’s most charming cities. Recent guests consistently rave about the location, and honestly, once you’ve experienced Brussels from this vantage point, staying anywhere else feels like a compromise. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like you’ve discovered a secret, even though you’re right in the middle of everything. This exceptional flat truly captures the essence of urban living.
Early hotels booking in Brussels is essential during major events like the European Summit meetings, as accommodations fill up quickly with visitors eager to experience the city’s renowned chocolate culture and historic architecture.

New apartment. Good amenities.
What could be improved: Shower needs some work – water pressure is very very thin.Emma from Italy – 10 April 2025 (8/10)
Great location and clean apartment
Jacqui from Australia – 30 August 2024 (7/10)
Excellent Location. Very close to shopping area.
What could be improved: Bathroom- bathtub is clean but the taps is the middle of bathtub therefore it is hard to move around in having shower. Toilet area is very small and toilet is separated area to bathroom.Harish from Netherlands – 29 June 2024 (7/10)
The apartment was cleaned and nice. Location was easily accessible to public transport. Lot of good kitchen cutlery was available, nice laundry facilities as well.
What could be improved: The building was old, and the elevator was too small. The stairs were difficult to climb.Jose from Netherlands – 28 June 2024 (9/10)
I liked the spaces, the modern kitchen and also the level of service from the hostess. The apartment was very clean too. The location was good, just 10 mins away from La Grand Place and located in a very quiet area.
What could be improved: The elevator is very small so if you’re traveling with a lot of luggage so better travel light.Aleksandre from Georgia – 11 May 2024 (9/10)
Nice apartment at a very good location.
Christine from United Kingdom – 5 April 2024 (9/10)
Excellent location within short walk of metro, city centre, shops etc. Great communication from the owner throughout. He met us at the apartment, welcomed us, showed us around, and explained arrangements for check out.
Apartment is very spacious and very quiet. We stayed two nights and all slept well. It was very clean and comfortable and there were plenty of towels. The shower worked well. The TV was great with streaming channels and a nice way to unwind after two busy days sightseeing. We would definitely stay again. Don't be put off by the exterior. It's very secure and very peaceful.
What could be improved: Really minor points …but we couldn't find a corkscrew or bottle opener in the kitchen (otherwise really well equipped); extra pillows would be good in the bedroom; coat hooks in the spacious hallway would be useful to hang up wet coats😊Olga from Germany – 14 November 2023 (9/10)
Very clean and spacious flat. Very close to train station to go to the airport and close to the bars, city center. Easy communication with the owner.
What could be improved: The floors are very cold, I suggest wearing home shoes there.Shadi from Israel – 31 October 2023 (9/10)

Location was excellent. Right in the centre, short walking distance from supermarket, restaurants, shops and "Grote Markt". Although centred around erotic shops and lots of homeless people sleeping outside, it did NOT feel unsafe. Appartment was spacious and clean. Always a plus that bathroom and toilet are seperate.
What could be improved: Although it said that there was parking facility there is NO (free) parking facility that comes with the apartment. However, there is a paid underground parking facility nearby (under Thon hotel – Manhatten Rogier). The owner did not know where we could park or what the parking rules were in the street infront of the apartment.
The kitchen is missing an oven, but a supermarket for fresh bread is nearby. Kitchen is also missing a bread knife to slice your baguettes or utensils to fry an egg.
We booked for 4 people, 2 adults & 2 kids but only received towels for 2 people.
The bedroom is missing a dresser or chair or hooks or anything where I can put clothes on.
The hallway (or any other place) is missing hooks where we could hang our wet coats (it was a very rainy weekend).
The kids (10 & 12 years old) slept on the pull out couch. They slept fine, however, this is not the type of pull out couch where you pull out a bed, but rather extend the couch into a bed. This means that there are no sheets where you sleep on and so you are sleeping on the same couch covers the previous people slept on.
But would I stay here again? Definitely yes!
