The building has this understated elegance that doesn’t scream for attention, which I actually appreciate. You know what struck me most? The way the staff genuinely seemed to care about making sure everything was just right, not in that overly rehearsed way some places do it.

Location & Neighborhood

Here’s the thing about this part of Brussels — you’re close enough to everything that matters but far enough from the tourist chaos to actually breathe. The metro connections are solid (Botanique station is basically around the corner), and you can walk to the city center in about fifteen minutes if you’re feeling ambitious. What I loved was discovering the local cafés and that little park nearby where couples seem to gravitate — no wonder this four-star spot gets such high marks from romantic travelers. The neighborhood has this authentic Brussels vibe that you just don’t get when you’re staying right in the Grand Place area.

The Room Experience

My room was thoughtfully designed without being fussy about it — clean lines, comfortable bed, and those little touches that show someone actually thinks about what travelers need. The bathroom was modern and well-lit (you’d be surprised how many places get this wrong), and I mean, the shower pressure was exactly what you want after walking around Brussels all day. The windows opened properly too, which might sound basic but it’s something I always notice. Storage space was adequate, and the desk area worked well for catching up on emails or planning the next day’s wandering.

Dining & Amenities

The breakfast setup impressed me more than I expected — fresh pastries that actually tasted like they came from a proper Belgian bakery, good coffee, and enough variety to keep you happy whether you’re a light eater or someone who needs fuel for serious sightseeing. The restaurant area has this relaxed atmosphere where you can linger over coffee without feeling rushed. Staff seemed to know their way around dietary restrictions too, which is always a relief when you’re traveling. There’s also decent parking available, though honestly, in this part of Brussels you’re better off using public transport anyway.

  I loved the breakfast, it was a little over priced but worth it. It was delicious for everything. The rooms were beautiful and full of amenities and the staff was very friendly
  
  What could be improved: The only two things that bothered me about this is that it’s a tad far from the city center. You would need to take a metro or a taxi. Or if you really like walking this is the hotel for you. The second is for the bathroom, there is no lock and the door is made of all glass so it’s very easy for someone from the outside to see inside. This made it hard to do with a group of friends however, the bathroom was amazingly clean and all the amenities made up for it.

  The hotel is very comfortable and clean, spacious and the breakfast has good variety of food for everybody. The staff was super friendly, we were traveling with 6 kids and everybody was super polite and looking on how to help us or just checking if everything was fine. Very family friendly place.
  
  The location is good, not the most convenient when it's raining but it's definitely good.
  
  What could be improved: Overall I dont have any specific thing that I didn't like, there's always room for improvement, e.g. I couldn't find a hair dryer in the bedroom which I feel it was weird but it's not crucial for me so its fine and the hot water in the shower was not that hot and not very strong, but it was hot enough so it was fine.
