The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d want from a well-run three-star — clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed without any unnecessary frills. The bed was properly comfortable (you know how some hotels skimp on mattresses), and there’s enough space to actually unpack and settle in rather than living out of your suitcase. Small touches like decent lighting for reading and outlets where you actually need them show someone’s been paying attention to what guests really want.

The Neighborhood Rhythm

Mornings here have this lovely, unhurried pace — you can grab fresh pastries from the local bakery just down the street, or if you’re feeling more ambitious, the weekend market is close enough for a proper Belgian breakfast adventure. What I found particularly nice was how easy it became to slip into the local rhythm. There’s a great little restaurant around the corner that serves proper Brussels comfort food, and the kind of neighborhood café where you can nurse a coffee and watch the world go by without feeling rushed.

  Very nice apartment. New, clean, in the kitchen there was everything you need to prepare meals. Large fridge, coffee maker. Very nice bedding and soft towels. A huge plus is the very nice and helpful owner – always smiling – we met him a few times because he lives nearby. He told us where to eat, which way to go to the center and which way to the metro. The area is very nice, around the corner there is a bar/restaurant with delicious fish and shrimp at a great price.

  Appartement neuf, très clair et très bien agencé. A proximité de la grand Place.
  Le propriétaire est facilement joignable.
  Il est à l'écoute des petites remarques faites (Il manquait un torchon à vaisselle, un grille-pain, une paire de ciseaux, un couteau à pain).
  A disposition, capsules pour machine Nespresso, sucre, thé, sel et poivre.
  
  What could be improved: Fermeture difficile des fenêtres Velux et des stores, pour ceux qui aiment dormir dans le noir.

  Great apartment. Modern and clean. Good power shower and provided shower gel and plenty of towels. Host was very helpful. Ideal location -about 15-20 minutes' walk to centre of Brussels. Would recommend.
