Numa Brussels Royal Galleries Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Numa Brussels Royal Galleries, you immediately understand why this four-star property has such devoted fans. The location on Rue d’Arenberg puts you literally in the heart of Brussels — I mean, you’re steps away from the Royal Galleries Saint-Hubert, which honestly feels like having a front-row seat to the city’s most elegant shopping arcade. The building itself has that classic Brussels charm, but inside it’s been updated with all the modern touches you’d actually want.
The Perfect Brussels Base
Here’s what I love about staying here — you can walk to pretty much everything that matters. The Grand Place is maybe a five-minute stroll, and you know how rare it is to find a decent hotel this close without paying through the nose. Couples especially seem to get this location (they rate it 9.7, which honestly makes sense when you’re wandering those cobblestone streets at night). The Royal Galleries themselves become like your personal covered walkway, connecting you to cafés, chocolate shops, and that whole magical Brussels vibe without dealing with weather.
The Room Experience
The room design strikes that sweet spot between contemporary and comfortable — nothing too flashy, but everything works exactly as it should. What impressed me most was how they’ve managed to soundproof these spaces despite being right in the city center. You get proper blackout curtains (thank goodness), decent Wi-Fi, and bathrooms that actually have enough space to move around. The beds are genuinely comfortable, not just hotel-marketing comfortable, and there’s enough storage for a week-long stay without living out of your suitcase.
Morning Fuel
Breakfast here is more thoughtful than I expected — they do continental, vegetarian, and buffet options, so there’s something for pretty much everyone. The buffet setup works well, especially when you’re trying to fuel up for a day of walking around Brussels (and trust me, you’ll be doing a lot of walking). I appreciated that they actually have decent coffee — not just the standard hotel stuff that tastes like it’s been sitting around since yesterday. The vegetarian options aren’t just an afterthought either, which is refreshing.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t the fanciest hotel in Brussels, but it gets the fundamentals right in a way that actually matters. That 8.5 rating reflects what you experience — solid service, smart location choices, and rooms that work for real travelers, not just Instagram photos. The staff knows the neighborhood well enough to give you actual recommendations (not just the tourist traps), and there’s something to be said for staying somewhere that couples consistently love. When you’re exploring a city like Brussels, having a reliable, well-located base makes all the difference, and Numa Brussels Royal Galleries delivers on that promise without any unnecessary drama.

Peniuk from Romania – 2 June 2025 (9/10)
I stayed at a Numa apartment in Brussels and was very satisfied with my experience. The hotel was clean, modern, and matched the description on the website perfectly. The self-check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. The atmosphere in the apartment was very pleasant, with stylish design that made it feel cozy and comfortable.
The location is another big advantage — just a short walk from the historic city center, famous landmarks, cafés, and shops. It’s perfect for exploring the city on foot.
Overall, everything was well-organized. The apartment was quiet, with no disturbances — ideal for resting after a day of sightseeing.
What could be improved: The room was a bit small, but still quite suitable for a short stay. It was clear that the cleaning had been done a few days before arrival, as there was a bit of dust on some surfaces. However, in general, everything was clean and tidy — no dirt or unpleasant smells.
It would also be helpful to have more kitchenware — there was only one mug and a small teaspoon, which felt a bit limited even for one person.Gray from United States – 2 June 2025 (9/10)

Great location, clean place and great gym in the basement!
What could be improved: The check in process was very difficult. It took me a while to be able to understand the process and it was not advertised as all automated check in. I even assisted several other people in getting through the difficult process. At one point, you have to go to a random website and upload a picture of your passport even.Melissa from Luxembourg – 20 May 2025 (8/10)
Location was great – everything was clean. Really appreciated the self-storage lockers on site that could access until 8pm of check out day. Although I didn’t use, was a well equipped gym too.
What could be improved: Just a word of warning for travellers expecting a concierge or any staff on site to assist you – there isn’t. You will need to read the directions well to self check in and out. If any issues, you will have to chat with what seemed like AI and might not be any staff on site to resolve until next morning.Delphine from Australia – 18 May 2025 (9/10)
Super easy to get into, great facilities and storage for your luggage before and after checkout, great gym!

Everything was really clean and the ambiance was great! We loved that we had free snacks in the fridge and also coffee in the room (and in the lobby). We had everything that we needed and also the people in the hotel were very nice. We’ll definitely come back!
