Tucked away on Rue du Chêne, the Manneken View is a cozy, three-star hotel in Brussels that’s got a certain charm to it. When I first walked in, I was greeted by a warm, homely vibe that’s hard to find in the more sterile, high-end places. You know, the kind of place where you feel like you’re staying in a friend’s apartment rather than a hotel. The rating of 8.4 is pretty spot on, honestly.

What makes Manneken View special is its location. It’s just a stone’s throw from the Grand Place, which is a must-see for any visitor to Brussels. The cobblestone streets around here are lined with cafes and patisseries that have been around for generations – you can smell the waffles and chocolate from miles away. The staff at the hotel were really helpful, giving me insider tips on where to find the best local brews and hidden gems in the city.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a simple, modern design. They’ve got all the basics covered – a decent bed, a flat-screen TV, and free Wi-Fi that actually works. The view from my room was pretty great too; I could see the spire of the Town Hall from my window. But, you know, there was a bit of street noise at night, especially on weekends when the bars nearby get a bit lively. So, if you’re a light sleeper, you might want to request a room at the back.

Check-in was a breeze, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Parking can be a bit tricky in this area, but the hotel offers a garage at a reasonable rate, which was a lifesaver. Honestly, if you’re looking for a budget-friendly base in Brussels that’s close to all the action, Manneken View is a solid choice. It’s not going to blow you away with luxury, but it’s comfortable, convenient, and has a real sense of place that you don’t always get with the big chain hotels.

  Impresionante apartamento, muy amplio, equipado totalmente, cuenta con elevador, en una ubicación inmejorable con grandes ventanales que invitan a sentarte en el sillón o comedor y sentir realmente que vives en la ciudad. Vista directa en un balcón al símbolo de la ciudad de Bruselas. Muy cerca de sitios de fiesta, bares restaurantes sin embargo lo suficientemente lejos para que el ruido no sea un problema. Ha sido el mejor lugar en que nos hemos alojado ya que nos permitió sentirnos parte de la rutina de los lugareños y muy cerca de todo.
