The Manneken Pis is a three-minute walk (though you’ll probably stumble across it by accident), and the Royal Galleries of Saint Hubert are right there when you want to duck into some upscale shopping or grab chocolate. What I really loved is how easy it becomes to pop back to your room between sightseeing — something you can’t do when you’re staying out in the business district or near the airport.

Neighborhood Life

The street itself, Rue du Marché aux Poulets, puts you right in the medieval heart of Brussels where locals actually live and work. You’ll find proper Belgian cafés within a block or two, not just tourist traps, and the morning market activity gives you a real sense of daily Brussels life.   The apartment is within walking distance from the Brussels Central Station. The main attractions are easily accessible by just walking. Many restaurants are around and along the area when getting to and from the apartment. There is a supermarket beside the apartment building. The owner was very helpful in giving instructions on how to get to the apartment.
  
  What could be improved: There is no washing machine in the apartment contrary to what was indicated in the facilities in Booking.com.

  We had a lovely stay here, we were there for two nights. The location was excellent, it was easy to find although the name on the building is different. The apartment was clean warm an very comfortable. We had some questions and got reply very quickly, and the host was very helpful
