Walking up to Easy Stay – City Center, you immediately get that “this is exactly what I needed” feeling. It’s one of those three-star places that doesn’t try to be something it’s not — just a solid, well-run hotel right in the heart of Brussels. The building has that classic European charm without being stuffy, and honestly, the location alone makes it worth considering. The staff greets you warmly, setting a welcoming tone from the moment you arrive.

Here’s the thing about Rue Pieremans — you’re literally in the center of everything, but it’s not one of those crazy busy streets where you can’t sleep. You can walk to Grand Place in about ten minutes, and all the main shopping areas are right there. What I really appreciated was how easy it was to find good restaurant nearby without having to venture into the super touristy zones. The metro connections are solid too, which matters when you’re trying to get around Brussels efficiently.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d expect from a well-managed city center hotel — clean, functional, and surprisingly quiet given the location. Nothing fancy, but everything worked properly, which is honestly more than you can say for some places. The bed was comfortable enough, and there was decent storage space for a few days’ worth of stuff. The bathroom was compact but modern, and the shower had good water pressure — you know how hit-or-miss that can be in older European buildings.

Practical Considerations

What struck me about Easy Stay is how they’ve figured out the basics really well. The staff actually knows the neighborhood and can give you proper directions, not just generic tourist advice. Check-in was straightforward, and they were flexible about luggage storage when I arrived early. The WiFi worked consistently throughout the building, which isn’t always a given in these older structures. There’s no fancy restaurant or anything like that, but honestly, with Brussels’ incredible food scene right outside your door, who needs it?

I can see why couples rate this place so highly — it’s got that perfect balance of being centrally located without the chaos of staying right on a main square.   It was spacious and clean
  
  What could be improved: The only I would say is that when we arrived late at night we couldn’t see the number of the property to ascertain which one it was as it was extremely faint. Maybe could do with a number placard or something for the next customers.

  Was very clean and the beds were very comfortable! Easy to get in and out, very practical with just codes for the doors, and it still felt safe. Nice area with a lot of Vintage and second hand store and the apartment is located right next to the market in Marolles.
  
  What could be improved: In one of the beds the "bed boards" under the madrass fell down several times, it should be checked:)

  Property was very clean and modern, near the station and walkable distance to all the tourist sites.

  Clean, exceptionally friendly Portuguese cleaner who helped us out. Comfy beds and the heating worked great, we were very toasty. Good location 10 mins walk from the station and 20 mins to markets and grand place!
  
  What could be improved: Basic kitchen, not much more than a microwave and a knife to make sandwiches but perfect for a weekend of exploring

  Big space, with lots of room. Main room was very clean, so was the kitchen. Not the best neighbourhood but still felt very safe when going back at night. For the price, I wasn't expecting such a lovely place.
  
  What could be improved: The bathroom/shower is – to me – to rethink entirely. There was a drain smell in the bathroom the entire time, the showerhead didn't seem clean and the material choice in the shower wasn't the most clever since hard water traces are very visible. Water was barely hot and there was no pressure at all. Also, a nice touch to consider in the future would be to hang the soap dispensers instead of leaving them next to the sink/in the shower.

  The apartment is very cosy and has all the facilities that are required and has large windows with great ventilation. It’s very close to shops and has great cafes around too. The digital keys make it very accessible, if you’re a group.

  What could be improved: Noisy: if you live in the ground floor, you will know everyone when and how they enter the gate; if someone talking in front of your window, you can also hear clearly.
  Ant🐜：don’t know why there are ants on the table and on the ground, I guess they come from the window of the backyard
  Staff’s attitude: I can understand they didn’t have space to storage the luggage, and I think they should talk in a gentle way. I think it’s rude after I asked whether I could leave luggage for 1 hour at the room through the booking online, the staff reply “ get it now”. But the cleaner staff is super nice and warm

  What could be improved: The wifi doesn’t work. Yes they give you wifi name and password but it doesn’t work and when I brought it up to the host he gave me a horrible reply without any attempt to come fix it or help us out. I had to use data my entire stay. 100% I typed the password correctly multiple times and it did not work. Clearly not the right password
