DC Hotel & Restaurant Brussels South Overview
You know what, when I first stepped into the DC Hotel & Restaurant Brussels South, I was pleasantly surprised. It’s a 3-star hotel, but it’s got this cozy, welcoming vibe that’s hard to find in the hustle and bustle of Brussels. The address, W.A. Mozartlaan 11, might not ring a bell for everyone, but it’s actually in a pretty convenient spot – not too far from the city center, but just far enough to avoid the worst of the tourist crowds.
Honestly, the rating of 7.3 is pretty spot on. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfy, and the staff is friendly – what more could you ask for? The hotel’s restaurant is a nice touch too; they serve a mean breakfast in the morning, and the dinner menu has a good selection of local dishes. I mean, the food is nothing fancy, but it’s hearty and satisfying after a long day of sightseeing.
One thing that stood out to me was the attention to detail. The hotel is located near some of Brussels’ lesser-known gems, like the Sonian Forest, which is a great spot for a quiet walk or a bike ride. And the check-in process was a breeze – the staff were efficient and friendly, making you feel right at home. The parking situation is pretty good too, which is a godsend in a city where parking can be a nightmare.
Now, it’s not perfect – the Wi-Fi can be a bit spotty in some parts of the hotel, and the noise levels can get a bit high during the busy season. But honestly, these are minor issues that don’t detract from the overall experience. If you’re looking for a comfortable, affordable place to stay in Brussels that’s a bit off the beaten path, the DC Hotel & Restaurant Brussels South is a solid choice.

Great location – we were there to go to forest nationale and taxi there was around 15€, we walked there which takes 40 minutes but a few pubs/bars on way which broke up the journey.Louis from Germany (7/10)
The location is great, cats roaming around, very friendly staff
Nick from United Kingdom (7/10)
There are reasonably well-appointed rooms and we were able to have adjoining rooms with a connecting door which made it like a family suite. In a separate building there is an attractive restaurant and bar area with a garden that includes a covered dining/ drinking area. The food is good with some Asian influences, but not good for vegetarians. The hotel is located in an industrial park (so don't expect a view!) in the south west of Brussels, but it is convenient for getting into the centre as a regular bus service departs from immediately outside the entrance to the car park. Take this for the length of its route (10 – 15 minutes) to Gare du Midi, then its a short metro ride to the centre. Back to the hotel, a good point – especially for its target clientele – is the reasonably sized car park, which is securely locked every night at 10pm. Breakfast is available, but we did not take it.

Friendly staff, comfortable beds, very clean. We enjoyed being in the annexe on the ground floor. In easy reach to the motorway and only two stops by train into Brussels.
