Central in the heart of Brussels Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Central in the heart of Brussels, you’ll notice it doesn’t try to be flashy — and honestly, that’s part of its charm. This three-star property sits right on Rue du Midi, which means you’re literally in the thick of everything Brussels has to offer. I mean, the name pretty much tells you what you’re getting, but the location really does live up to the promise. The building has that classic European feel without being stuffy about it.
Location That Actually Matters
Here’s what I love about staying here — you can walk to the Grand Place in about five minutes, maybe less if you’re not stopping to peek into shop windows. The Manneken Pis is practically around the corner, and you’re close enough to the Royal Quarter that you could easily stroll over after breakfast. What really struck me is how couples seem to get it — they’ve rated the location 9.7 for romantic trips, and I can see why. Brussels reveals itself differently when you’re staying right in the center like this, you know? You catch the city’s rhythm instead of always feeling like a tourist rushing between metro stops.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d expect from a solid three-star place — clean, comfortable, and functional without any unnecessary frills. The windows actually open (which isn’t always a given), and if you’re facing the street, you get a nice view of the daily Brussels hustle. Sure, it’s not going to win any design awards, but everything works properly, the bed is decent, and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need.
Getting Around and Exploring
What really makes this place work is how connected you feel to the city. The central train station is close enough that you could easily take day trips to Bruges or Ghent, but honestly, you might not want to leave Brussels once you realize how much is within walking distance. The chocolate shops, the beer cafes, the little galleries tucked into side streets — it’s all right there. I found myself coming back to the hotel throughout the day just because it was so easy, whether I needed to drop off shopping bags or just take a quick break.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t the fanciest hotel in Brussels, but it gets the fundamentals right. The location score of 9.6 isn’t just a number — it reflects how much easier your entire trip becomes when you’re staying somewhere this central. You’ll save money on transport, save time getting around, and honestly, you’ll probably discover parts of Brussels you’d miss if you were staying further out. For the price point and the three-star category, Central in the heart of Brussels delivers exactly what it promises, which is more than you can say for a lot of places these days.

Geert from Netherlands – 26 May 2025 (8/10)
Great location and overall comfortable stay. Everything was clean.
Don't expect a 5 star hotel but great appartment for the price
What could be improved: Everything was just a bit old/cheap quality. But then again this is to be expected for the price.Gilberto from Mexico – 16 May 2025 (8/10)

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié d’être à proximité du centre touristique de Bruxelles
What could be improved: Le manque et le prix du stationnement en centre-villeAdam from Ireland – 27 April 2025 (8/10)
Brilliant location, easy to access, and beautiful retro style to the apartment.
Catalin from Romania – 25 March 2025 (8/10)
Easy to access from a key box with cypher.
What could be improved: I received instructions for accessing the apartment and other important information only in French. The flat is big and nice but being close to a street, sometimes is very noizy, even in the middle of night (drunk pedestrians, noisy motorcycles, etc.). I also experienced an issue with the heating of the flat but finally solved after 5 hrs. There was a persistent food smells in the building hallway but not in the flat and this was good.Azfar from United States – 18 March 2025 (8/10)
Excellent location close to Grand Place and other attractions. Property is very spacious and has a kitchen
What could be improved: Can be furnished better in the living roomAgnès from France – 12 March 2025 (7/10)

What could be improved: Enormément de bruite dans l'immeuble malheureusement , pas de télévisions , pas de balcon pour fumer pour le prix honnêtement c'est pas top , heureusement la connections internent était bonne .
