This four-star property sits right in the heart of the city, and I mean actually in the heart, not just claiming to be. The building has that classic Brussels charm without trying too hard, you know? It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’ve stumbled onto something locals would approve of.

The Neighborhood

Honestly, the location is what really sets this place apart. You’re genuinely in the center of everything — I could walk to the Grand Place in just a few minutes, but more importantly, I was surrounded by actual Brussels life. There are proper Belgian cafés within a block, not just tourist traps, and the morning bread smell from nearby bakeries is something else. Couples seem to get this especially well (they rate the location 8.2, which makes total sense), because there’s something romantic about being able to wander these cobblestone streets without feeling like you’re following a guidebook.

The Apartment Experience

The apartment setup here is actually pretty clever — you get way more space than a typical hotel room, which matters when you’re staying more than a night or two. Each unit has a proper kitchen, and I mean a real one where you could actually cook if you wanted to, not just a mini-fridge situation. The design feels modern but not sterile — they’ve managed to keep some character in the spaces. What I appreciated most was having room to spread out and not feel cramped, especially after long days exploring the city.

Daily Life

There’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that doesn’t feel like a hotel machine. The staff actually seems to know the neighborhood — when I asked about where to grab coffee that wasn’t a chain, they pointed me to this tiny place around the corner that became my daily ritual. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle in this part of Brussels (like most European city centers), but they help sort that out. The whole experience feels more like borrowing a friend’s place than checking into a corporate property.

Look, Brussels has plenty of hotels, but Camus Flats gets something right that bigger places often miss — you feel connected to the actual city.   Flat was easy to find, communication from host was great, everything you needed was in the flat.
  Really useful that we could leave luggage in laundry room so we did not have to take around city with us on arrival and departure day.

  The apartment is in a very good location, within walking distance of most attractions. The hostess was very kind and agreed to let us in earlier. The apartment is very neat, clean, cozy. The kitchen has all the necessary equipment.

  The apartment was not the one shown in the photo. But it was not worse, very clean, very comfortable, well equipped. The owner answered questions on VnatsApp very quickly. It was very easy to check in. They are located near the tram stop. It is about 10-15 minutes walk to the city center
  
  What could be improved: Even though the apartment is located in the center, in a residential area, I did not feel safe when I walked along the street alone. This applies more to the city as a whole than to the assessment of the housing

  The apartment was clean, well-maintained and accurately furnished as described. The bathroom was spotless with excellent shower pressure, and the double bed was very comfortable. We appreciated the host accommodating our requests, which was very helpful for our travel plans. The location was convenient for exploring Brussels. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

  Great location (calm street but within walking distance to the centre/Grand Place/nice restaurants and bars), easy to get in, and the apartment was very clean and neat on arrival. It's a good size, more than perfect for 4 people. The kitchen is well equipped (nice coffee machine!) and very clean, too. Didn't meet the host but everything was communicated well and we had no issues.
  
  What could be improved: Everything was great but if I can make a small suggestion: I missed the instructions somewhere on how to use the coffee machine, and maybe a roll of kitchen napkins would be handy.
