Appartement luxe 1 Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Appartement luxe 1 on Hoekstraat, you immediately get that “I’m staying somewhere special” feeling. This three-star apartment sits right in the heart of Brussels, and honestly, the location alone makes it worth considering. The building has that classic Belgian charm — you know, the kind where you feel like you’re living like a local rather than just passing through as another tourist.

The Perfect Brussels Base

Here’s what I love about this spot — couples absolutely rave about the location, giving it a 9.8 rating, and I can see why. You’re literally in the top-rated area of Brussels with a location score of 9.4, which means everything you want to see is within walking distance. The Grand Place is just a few minutes away, and you can easily stroll to all those incredible chocolate shops and beer cafes that make Brussels so special. I mean, when you can grab fresh waffles for breakfast and be at the Manneken Pis before most tourists even wake up, you know you’ve picked the right neighborhood.

Living Space That Works

The room setup is what really sets this place apart from your typical hotel stay. You get a proper living space with a kitchenette that’s actually functional — not one of those tiny hotel setups where you can barely make coffee. The apartment feels thoughtfully designed, with enough space to spread out your stuff and actually relax. It’s clean, well-maintained, and has that cozy European apartment vibe that makes you want to stay in with a bottle of Belgian beer and plan your next day’s adventures.

The Brussels Experience

What struck me most was how this place lets you experience Brussels like you actually live there. You can pop down to the local market, grab some cheese and bread, and have breakfast in your own space before heading out. The neighborhood has that authentic Brussels energy — locals going about their daily business, small cafes where you can practice your French or Dutch, and those narrow cobblestone streets that make every walk feel like a mini adventure. You’re close enough to the tourist spots but far enough away that you’re not constantly surrounded by tour groups.

Why Guests Love It

With an 8.6 rating, guests clearly appreciate what this place offers, and I think it comes down to the combination of location and that apartment-style independence. You get the best of both worlds — the services and cleanliness standards you expect from a hotel, but with the freedom and space of having your own place. For couples especially, there’s something romantic about having your own little Brussels hideaway where you can come back after a day of exploring, cook a simple dinner together, and just enjoy being in one of Europe’s most charming cities. It’s not trying to be flashy or over-the-top — it just delivers exactly what you need for a great Brussels stay.

Reviews of Appartement luxe 1

  • John from United Kingdom – 16 May 2025 (9/10)

Great location with space next to gym, Carrefour and tube. 5-10 minute walk to Brussels centre

  • Cyrine from France – 1 May 2025 (5/10)

  • Kutoma from United Kingdom – 9 April 2025 (9/10)

Very comfortable. Hostvwas very attentive. Very close to shops, restaurants, metro. Very central place

What could be improved: There is still a bit of renovation going on. But the apartment was very comfortable and really clean. My code door didn't work right kn day two but host quickly rectified situation.

Excelente estancia, cómdo, limpio, bien ubicado, muy amable Jarum nuestro hospedero.

  • M from Belgium – 17 March 2025 (9/10)

This appartment has great charm. Noord Station is a 10 minute walk away. Small supermarkets nearby.
It was perfect for going on foot to Tour&Taxis.
It provides everything (and more) you need for a short pleasant stay.

  • Henrich from Slovakia – 1 March 2025 (9/10)

The accommodation had an excellent location for my needs. Both local and intercity transport were nearby. The interior had new furnishings and equipment, and the large windows were a very pleasant surprise. Everything looked new. There are some stairs inside, but I actually liked them as well.

What could be improved: My only complaint was the fluctuating water temperature in the shower. At times, it was cold for a Central European.
